Partnership FAQ
What is Specialized Dental Partners?
We are a specialty dental service organization focused solely on supporting the unique needs of
Endodontists, Periodontists, and Oral Surgeons. Our model is built on partnership. That means we
support your practice operations while you maintain full clinical autonomy.
How is SDP different from traditional DSOs?
Our partners are shareholders who have a real voice in the direction of the organization. Our focus is on long-term alignment, sustainable growth, and protecting the integrity of specialty care. We are also the only group in the specialty dental space who have had a successful equity (recapitalization) event.
Will I keep my staff, brand, and culture if I partner?
Yes. Your team, your name, and your identity are respected and retained. We’re here to support what you’ve built—not replace it.
What kind of support will I receive after partnering?
You’ll have access to experienced teams in operations, finance, marketing, HR, compliance, and more. You’ll also have a dedicated regional operator and transition lead to guide your team through the process and beyond.
What is the value creation model?
As a partner, you become a Class A shareholder. This means your equity grows alongside the organization. Our partners benefit financially while continuing to build their practices.
Will I have to change how I treat patients?
No. Clinical decisions remain entirely with you. We believe better outcomes come from empowered specialists, not standardized protocols.
How do partners stay connected?
We invest in creating a connected community through regular in-person events, online collaboration platforms, shared resources, and ongoing leadership development.

Dental Specialist Careers FAQ
What does compensation look like?
Compensation is competitive and structured at the practice level. Each opportunity is customized to reflect the needs of the doctor and the local market.
Who will I be working for?
All associate agreements are made directly with the individual practice. While the practice is supported by SDP, your relationship is with the local team.
Will I have clinical independence?
Yes. You will be supported, not directed. We help practices grow, but clinical care remains in the hands of the doctors.
What opportunities are available beyond the clinical role?
We offer leadership training, mentorship, and a pathway to partnership. Many of our partners today began as associates within our network.
I’m an experienced doctor transitioning from military service—what does SDP offer to support my move to civilian practice?

Integrated Care FAQ
What does integrated care mean at SDP?
Integrated care at SDP means bringing together Endodontists, Periodontists, and Oral Surgeons within a shared framework to elevate the patient experience. It’s not about creating a single practice model but about strengthening coordination across specialties.
Is this already happening?
Yes. We are actively building relationships across our partner practices to encourage collaboration and referral continuity. This is happening now in several key markets.
What are the benefits for specialists?
Working in an integrated care model allows you to better serve patients through timely referrals, collaborative treatment planning, and access to trusted colleagues within the same aligned network.
Does this change my clinical independence?
No. You remain in control of your patient care and your practice. Integration is about collaboration, not control.
Is this model focused on business growth?
While integration supports growth, the primary goal is improving care and outcomes. Our approach is grounded in doing what’s best for patients and the future of specialty dentistry.
